Each dripper is adjustable by turning the top dial to water from 0 to 10 GPH and releasing drops of water from a drip to a small 8-stream spray pattern.
When increasing the water output, be sure not to over rotate the top, as it can come off and become lost. Replacement caps (MLD-STACAP) can be purchased separately.
Use these adjustable dripper stakes to gently water patio and potted plants or landscapes.
Install these drippers directly into the 1/2-in poly tubing by first snapping a hole using either of our punch tools (MLA-51 or MLA-TOOL).
If you punch a hole in the wrong place, or want to relocate the dripper, then simply remove it from the 1/2-in poly and snap in one of our goof plugs (MLA-51G).
These drippers can also be installed by running a piece of 1/4-in vinyl tubing to the plant from the 1/2-in poly tubing using the enclosed 1/4-in barbed couplers, then by pushing in the dripper at the other end of the 1/4-in vinyl next to the plant.
After the last dripper is installed, turn on the water and allow the flow of water to clean out any debris that may have entered the line during installation.
Our 1/4-in support stakes (MLT-DST) can be used to securely hold the 1/4-in vinyl tubing and 1 GPH dripper near the plant.
Also, use our 1/4-in tees (MLT-TEE) and elbows (MLT-ATE) to run the 1/4-in vinyl tubing in opposing directions or in tight corners to supply water to these drippers.

Drippers and Drip Tubing should NEVER be buried underground but can be covered lightly with Mulch.
RECOMMENDATIONS & LIMITATIONS
When installing any irrigation system it is important to be aware of manufacturer recommendations and potential system limitations. Please be aware of the following:
A 25 PSI pressure regulator (MLD-25PR) and a faucet filter (MLFF-41) are highly recommended to be used first at the water source when using these adjustable dripper stakes. The timer (if used) must be the first thing attached to the faucet and then the pressure regulator and then the filter. Then attach the Faucet/Hose fitting (MLF-33 or MLA-FAS) to the filter.
MAXIMUM RUNS
1/4-in Vinyl Tubing - Run up to 30-ft of our 1/4-in Vinyl Tubing installing no more than 8 Adjustable Drippers set to drip only, only 3 stakes can be used if set to wide open and maximum clicks using 10 GPH and small circle sprays.
1/2-in Poly Tubing - Run up to 300-ft of our 1/2-in Poly Tubing installing up to 30 of the Adjustable Drippers that are wide open to 10 gph with a small stream spray or run up to 300-ft of our 1/2-in Poly Tubing installing up to 100 of the Adjustable Drippers with the top open to only use up to 2 gph with water dripping at 25 PSI at the faucet.
Minimum operating pressure for Adjustable Drippers: 5 PSI for Dripping.
Maximum operating pressure for Adjustable Drippers: 50 PSI for Spraying 8 Streams.
